Lined Up Angels

There are angels, seems like they are in a place made of clouds, all of them are in a line, and to keep them organized, there’s even a barricade stand, you know the one that the cinemas used to have to keep people organized in entering the theatre. The angels are bored, some sitting down on what seems to be a ground of clouds, and some leaning on some wall like structure, some playing rock, scissors, paper, a lot of sighing, and lots of frustrated ‘ahs’ and ‘ohs’ float in the air, then an angel arrives, you can hear the flapping of its wings like an eagle landing on its nest, and the angel proceeds to the end of the line, and wow, the end of the line seems longer than the Eiffel Tower. Then a tiny voice says “Lord, please send an angel to......” and whooooossh, the first angel in the line, rushes out with the speed of light. The angel now in the first of the line says, “It’s about time.”

Lights out.

The lights went back on...

I’m in the same place, the barricade stand still there, the wall like structure, everything the same – but no angels; just some feathers on the ground of clouds. Where are the angels? Then a voice answered me, “they’re serving My people, because finally, one of My people shared to his brothers and sisters that at their word, My angels will come and do what they pray.”

2013 - The Year of Completion

My love for the reels - feature films and TV Movies, short films and documentaries, animations and cartoons, from action to adventure, to magic and mystery, and all that - is a gift. A gift that I have long shelved. When I took it out of the shelf, it was dusty, but was still very new and vibrant, even after years of being shelved. Then I asked God, "After 30 years of existence, I have always asked you what is my purpose in life, and now, I understand that you have answered that question already, but is this really it?"....

He taught me before that writers write because there are so many things to write about and there are only few minds that can fathom them. Above that, He taught me that all, everything, each thing, idea, thought, picture, sound -- EVERYTHING -- leads back to Him. I have learned and forgotten many things, but these 2 things He taught me, I remember vividly, even where He taught me them. The first was while I was writing in my big, green notebook and the latter, while I as in the food court of Shangri La Mall in Shaw Blvd., both in the Philippines. Don't ask when though, but I'm sure it was during my teenage years, my years of youth.

He has given me eyes that see things that not all see - both applies while watching a reel, and while writing a piece. I was arrogant and ignorant and didn't understand why I saw those things, I merely enjoyed them for what they were and when I got bored, shelved those things away. But thank God for His grace, I still see things that not all see.

This is me, trying to say to you, do NOT waste the gift that God has given you. Use it, use it for His glory. The following pieces that you will be reading here are NOT mine - they belong to God. May they bless you as they have blessed me.
